Last month we had the opportunity to host a group from the Art & Leadership Program for Girls in the library to showcase some of the items from the Museum’s Special Collections. The group was working on a bookbinding project and came in to see some of the unique publications from Georgia O’Keeffe’s personal libraries and the Special Collections for possible inspiration in their own bookmaking endeavors. We loved the opportunity to pull out some of the special artist books, exhibition catalogues and uniquely designed publications that are held in the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum Research Center.

Showcasing these materials was such a fun event for us. It is great to be able to stop and look at a collection from a different perspective.
